That's why we partnered with other Big Ten Academic Alliance Universities for our 2023-2024 iteration of Stay Local. We've banded together under the name Big Impact Small Footprint because that's the goal!

How it happened
It's fortunate to have many leaders in International Education and Education Abroad share a commitment to sustainability.
Joint planning allowed us to select common weekend(s) where we asked our students to avoid carbon-intensive travel.
We shared media, created individual pledge forms to reflect each school's choices for incentives and requirements, and reached out to our students early in the semester.
