Conceptualized by Penn State and launched in collaboration with Temple University and its Rome campus in spring 2023, the Stay Local Pledge prioritizes sustainability education, local cultural engagement, and climate-conscious travel in education abroad.

This site serves as a resource center for study abroad sending and host institutions as well as community partners and sustainability advocates.  We hope to grow this movement and expand its impact!
